In 1952, Romaldo Roscioli along with his wife, Midge, and their families opened a roadside stand called "The Dairy Spot".  Serving soft serve ice cream and hot dogs, the popularity of The Dairy Spot quickly grew.  Encouraged by customer's requests, spaghetti and other traditional Italian dishes were added to the menu.  Three years after The Dairy Spot's opening, the first dining room was built (currently our lobby).  "Rom's Restaurant" had begun.

Now five decades and 4 generations later, we are proud to say that Rom's truly is a family destination for diners throughout New England.

The Roscioli family would like to thank our patrons for making Rom's what it is today.  We strive to live up to our reputation which is to serve "The Best Food At The Best Prices".
